Our Story
About Beacon Creek
Founded by Riley Ellwanger to help northeast Nebraska — and communities like it — get the most out of the technology they rely on every day.

The Founder
Riley Ellwanger
Rooted here. Here to help.
I'm Riley Ellwanger, and I started Beacon Creek because I wanted my neighbors, local businesses, and family farms to have someone nearby they could trust when technology gets in the way — someone who shows up, explains things clearly, and understands how people actually live and work around here.
Most of what I do is hands-on computer support: repairs, setups, troubleshooting, and getting people back up and running. I also have a Computer Science degree from University of Nebraska–Lincoln and professional software engineering experience, so when a business outgrows off-the-shelf tools and needs something built for how they actually operate, I can do that too.
Beacon Creek is my way of putting those skills to work at home — helping this community and others like it stay connected, productive, and confident with the technology they depend on.

How I Work
What You Can Expect
Genuinely Responsive
Every inquiry gets a real response — usually same day. No answering services, no ticket queues. You get a direct line to me, and I'll know your setup.
Straight Talk
I explain what's wrong and what it costs before I do anything. No surprise invoices, no pressure to buy things you don't need — just honest advice from someone in your community.
On Your Timeline
I work evenings and weekends to fit your schedule. Whether it's calving season, a busy harvest, or a small business that can't afford downtime — I show up when you need me.
Mobile & On-Site
No storefront to drive to. I come to your home, your office, or your farm — wherever the equipment is, that's where I work.
"To strengthen rural and small-town communities by making reliable, professional technology support and custom software available locally — so the people who live and work here can grow, compete, and thrive on their own terms."
